,, And amongst God’s signs is that he created for you spouses from amongst you and placed between you love and mercy” (Qur’an 30:21)
By then, she was 40 years old, her husband’s age was 25. She was very kind to her husband, she loved him very much. Although she was older, she had respect for her husband. She didn’t notice her husband being younger. Nevertheless, she was a very rich woman, she treated her husband as her greatest wealth…
If someone tells you that love can do wonderful things, believe. Just remember that when our beloved Prophet began to receive visions for the first time, it was pretty scary. After all worries and trembling, the prophet needed some support. In seeking of it, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not go to his brave uncle Khamza (PBUH), kind uncle Abu Tolib, loyal friend Abu Bakr. But he went to Khadija (PBUH), who was his wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) knew that he had the same strength as an entire army. It was as they thought. Khadija (PBUH) surrounded him, reminded him of his virtues, supported and then took him to Varaqa bin Navfal. When she found out that he was a prophet, she became the first to believe. She sacrificed all his wealth for the sake of Allah and His Messenger.
When the time came and she passed away, the world became dark for the Prophet. His sadness was so deep that Allah raised him as if to comfort him. After some period our Prophet emigrated and got married again. But no one could substitute Khadija. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was approaching the age of 60, he invited some 80-year-old women. To those who were surprised around him, he commented,” These are Khadija’s friends”. One day an old woman came to his home. The messenger of Allah (PBUH) was very pleased by which surprised Aisha (PBUH) .The Messenger of Allah ( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “She used to come when Hadicha was alive”.
Khadija’s time:Have you paid attention? Our prophet (PBUH) opened the period with ,, Khadija’s time”. Sometimes, when he slaughtered a sheep ,, Give meat to the Khadicha’s friend after grinding”. Anas (PBUH) narrated: ,,If someone brought something to the messenger of Allah (PBUH), he used to say: ,,Give it to this woman. She loves it”. He loved not only Khadija but he also loved those who loved Khadija.
We can se such a kind treatment of wives in Islam in another Hadith: Hadith: When you look at your wife and smile, and when your wife looks at you and smiles, Allah looks at both of you and smiles.
Those who say love is a disgrace to a man and revealing love, commitment and trust weaken their personality are mistaken. The best example is that our prophet loved Khadija. Don’t be embarrassed with your feelings. Live with love until the and of your life. There’s no any other good job but beautiful love. Those who consider man should be heartless are mistaken.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The most complete of the believers in faith, is the one with the best character. And the best of you are those who are best to their women.”(At-Tirmidhi and authenticated by Al-Albani)
Man is expressed by the love, affection, respect and kindness to a woman. Those who claim to be angry with women make a mistake. There’s only one way to achieve a woman’s love. It is called love.
Let us conclude our lesson with a beautiful Hadith. Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The best among you is the best towards his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives.” (Ibn Majah and authenticated by Al-Albani)
